Open since 1930, the Hotel Des Lacs welcomes guests in both winter and summer and offers quality accommodations in a family atmosphere. Located just a mile from the center of Chamonix, near the lake of Gaillands, the hotel provides the perfect base for skiers and mountain lovers alike as the mountains and ski slopes are easily accessible from the hotel. All 23 guestrooms have been recently renovated to offer guests comfortable living spaces. Some rooms offer wonderful views of the natural setting surrounding the hotel. Guests are welcome to relax on the hotel’s sunny terrace which faces Mont Blanc and enjoy a drink from the bar. Wi-Fi internet access is available in the hotel. There are also free buses and trains that offer direct access to the ski slopes.
