The Island Inn's private beach provides an excellent area for swimming, BQQ grilling and seashell collecting. The front desk staff can also help guests organize sailing or kayaking expeditions. The Island Inn is 5 minute's drive from the 5,200-acre J. N. Darling Wildlife Refuge and less than 22 miles from Fort Myers city Center. Jerrys Grocery Store is less than 3 miles away. Front Desk Hours are 8 am EST to 5 pm EST daily. If guests are arriving after 5 pm EST they need to contact the hotel directly for after hours instructions. Construction will be going on in other areas of the property daily from 9 am EST to 5 pm EST
