Located in the village of Milcombe, Horse & Groom Inn is a former 16th-century coaching house which is less than an hour’s drive to the heart of the Cotswold District. It features an old-fashioned bar area with a stone floor and log burner, and free parking is available on site. An private bathroom is provided in each room at the Horse & Groom, as well as a TV and iPod docking station. Tea/coffee making facilities are also included, along with fresh milk and complimentary mineral water. A full English breakfast is made freshly cooked to order, using locally sourced produce where possible. Lunch and dinner are also available in the bar or dining room from Monday to Saturday, with a variety of home-cooked modern British food. The historic towns of Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon are within a 30-minute drive of the property, and free fishing is available to all guests at a nearby golf club lake. Wykham Park Farm Shop is just under a 10-minute drive away and sells homegrown produce from its own farm.
